It’s a brand new year. That means 365 days of possibilities, and it looks like 2015 is going to bring it in the beauty department with some exciting new collections and celebrity collaborations. Here are a few we’re especially excited about:
Victoria Beckham Wants to Decorate Your Nails
Victoria Beckham already established herself as a woman with excellent fashion taste, so when we got word that she has a nail polish collaboration with Nails Inc., we immediately hopped on board. The colors are all inspired by her Spring/Summer 2015 fashion collection and, for now, we know of two shades, “Bamboo White” and “Judo Red”. You can get these limited edition polishes online now for $25 a piece, or wait to purchase them in stores this February.
Claudia Schiffer Wants to Give You Supermodel Hair
Whenever we go to a hair salon, we bring in pictures of our favorite supermodels and actresses in hopes of getting identical tresses. Well, Claudia Schiffer wants us to be able to get supermodel hair at home with the launch of her new essence ULTÎME collection with German brand Schwarzkopf. Each product contains hair nourishing ingredients like pearl essence, biotin or omega oil because she understands that “I woke up like this” perfection is not as attainable as it seems.
“You have to treat your hair like you treat your face,” says Schiffer. “If you’re doing masks and exfoliations and god knows what else to your face, you should be doing the same thing on your hair. What I’ve learned is it’s a constant upkeep.”
She was involved throughout every step of the creation of the collection, so it gets her stamp of approval. Plus, it smells so good that she asked the brand to give her a bottle of just the scent. It contains notes of fresh fruit, white blossom, white musk, sandalwood and vanilla, in case you were wondering. Get the products this January!
Christopher Kane and NARS Want to Decorate Your Face
Mention NARS and the ears of beauty enthusiasts immediately perk up. Now, add Christopher Kane into the mix, we salivate. While we don’t know much about the collaboration other than the logo and what was previewed during the designer’s Spring/Summer 2015 fashion show, we’re told to expect makeup products for the eyes, lips and cheeks.
Burberry Wants to Give You Luxurious Skin
While very little is known about it, Burberry is poised to launch a skincare collection in late 2015. Word on the street is that the brand is “seeking to become a top-10 beauty brand” and Burberry CEO Christopher Bailey says that the new foray into skincare is supposed to complement their makeup line.
Target Wants to Dress You in Lilly Pulitzer
We’re definitely guilty of either waiting in line or stalking the Target website in hopes of getting our hands on some designer duds. That’s not going to change any time soon with the new announcement that Lilly Pulitzer will be the next designer collaboration. Expect to see 250 pieces of apparel, accessories, beauty and home decor with prices that range between $2 to $150 this spring!
