If you’ve ever envied the casually effortless locks of Halle Berry, Lauren Conrad, and Lucy Hale, you’ll soon be able to have their “mane” woman at your disposal (practically). Celebrity hairstylist Kristin Ess announced on Instagram that she’s launching her first haircare line at Target, and it’s set to arrive at the retailer’s website this weekend.
“I’ve been keeping a secret for almost 2 years and I can’t believe this day is actually here,” the redheaded hair guru and Beauty Department co-founder said. “My mind is completely blown and I cannot believe this is even real. How did this happen!?”
Comprised of 15 products, the haircare line is priced from $10 to $14 and includes shampoos, conditioners, dry and wet styling sprays, a moisturizing mask, and more. The range hits Target.com on Sunday, January 15 and lands in all Target stores on Sunday, January 22.
Formulated to be used alone or with other products from the collection, every item contains “a first-of-its-kind Zip-Up complex,” which contains Kerabead microcapsules, chia seeds, pea protein, and marine algae to condition, strengthen, and protect hair, according to Target.
Ess is known for her modern, laid-back hairstyles, like wavy lobs, dreamy braids, and whispy updos. In a release, she said that she created each product “based around the needs of the clients that sit in my chair, not just a study…the products perform at a very high level for what they cost. I would stand these up against any high-end brand with confidence.”
Unsurprisingly, the packaging is just as pretty as the products’ results — see for yourself in the gallery above and scroll through for the complete pricing.
