Eggs also contain a variety of different vitamins and nutrients that are incredibly important for a well-balanced diet. They are rich in the two antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin, which protect against eye disease and cataracts. A large egg only contains 77 calories, 5 grams of fat, and 6 grams of protein that contain all 9 essential amino acids. Not to mention, a high-protein breakfast of eggs is able to keep you full for the majority of the day, so no more overeating!They're the perfect way to start your day!
