Apr 16 My Pink Hair Color Makeover

I've been extremely jealous of the different hair colors that celebrities like Nicole Richie, Hilary Duff and Julianne Hough have experimented with lately. And I've wanted to try out pink hair ever since Rachel McAdams got pink streaks a few years back. So it's about time for me to go for it already. But rather than just do one color, I decided to take it a step further and give the multi-colored "mermaid hair" trend a shot. (See example below.)

I met up with hair genius Amber Dawn at B2V Salon in West Hollywood, CA. (She does Megan Fox's hair, so I was in very good hands.) The color we used was Schwarzkopf's latest addition, their Professional IGORA ROYAL Pearlescence color collection. After a consultation and a badly-needed haircut, we decided to go with the "Pastel Lavender" and "Pastel Candy" (pink) colors.
