GIVEAWAY! Murad Facial at Massage Envy Review
I take pretty good care of my skin on a daily basis, but sometimes my skin still needs a little extra help. That's where a good facial comes in. I recently was given the opportunity to try a Murad facial at Massage Envy and, since I'm a big fan of Murad products, I jumped at the chance.
Massage Envy offers four different Murad facials:
- Environmental Sheild Vitamin C: for skin with envoronmental damage from the sun, smog, and stress
- Clarifying Enzyme Acne: for breakout-prone, congested skin
- Anti-Aging: for mature skin or skin that's just starting to show the signs of aging
- Sensitive Skin: for skin that's easily irritated
After analyzing your skin, the aesthetician decides on what type of facial will work best. In my case, the aesthetician suggested the Anti-Aging facial. Then they go through the process, explaining each step and product they use. And in case you're wondering, they do extractions too. If you're like me, you tend to feel like you've wasted your time when a facial doesn't do extractions.
Afterwards, the aesthetician suggests Murad products that would be good for your skin. This is especially a great feature for those just starting to get into skincare and need some guidance.
Post facial, I have to tell you that my skin had a pretty glow to it for the next few days after my facial. Two weeks later, my skin still looks great and I've hardly had any breakouts. I don't know if that's a coincidence or if my skin just needed some extra TLC to stop freaking out.
I highly recommend this facial, especially because Murad products are so good. They're the products I always go back to when my skin starts to go a little crazy. (And no one paid me to say that.) My recent obsession from them is the Murad Advanced Acne & Wrinkle Reducer ($44). I feel like this product is perfect for where I'm at in life: still fighting breakouts while trying to prevent aging at the same time.
