We get it: sometimes those last five pounds just won't budge, which is especially annoying as tank top season approaches. For stubborn arm fat that refuses to go away with bicep curls (check out our video on the best arm workouts!), CoolSculpting's non-invasive fat removal treatment is now officially FDA-approved for use on upper arms.

In addition, CoolSculpting also says that it will soon launch the CoolAvantage Petite applicator, which will specifically target the upper arms and treat the area in only 35 minutes.

In a press release, CoolSculpting announced that their procedure is the only non-invasive technology cleared for the upper arm area. According to the company, 29 million Americans are interested in getting the treatment and 14 million people are concerned about flabby arms, "making [it] the third most popular area for consideration of non-invasive fat reduction," says Mark Foley, President and Chief Executive Officer of CoolSculpting parent company ZELTIQ.
