The Most Unique Facials To Get In Los Angeles

The Most Unique Facials To Get In Los Angeles

We’ve featured a ton of facials on our show The SASS hosted by Susan Yara and Sharzad Kiadeh, but some facials really stand out from the rest. These facials use techniques and tools you don’t see in the average facial and, to be honest, we still talk about them even years later.

#1 Electric Facial with Melanie Simon

The Physics Facial by “electrical esthetician” Melanie Simon regularly comes up as one of Susan and Sharzad’s favorite facials they’ve tried on The SASS. Simon uses a variety of wave forms from microcurrents to nanocurrents to give you what might be the best skin of your life.

PS: Melanie Simon is the creator of the ZIIP Device ($495) that lets you experience some of the benefits of this facial at home.

#2 Buccal Massage with Anastasia Talan

We heard that Meghan Markle’s favorite facial involves buccal massage, so naturally, we had to try it. Buccal massage is a facial that involves massaging the inside and outside of the mouth to really sculpt the face.

#3 The Hannibal Lector Facial with Marianne Kehoe

This was one of the very first episodes of The SASS and we kicked off the series with an extremely unique facial. Kehoe uses a combination of vacuum pressure and Galvanic current to increase blood circulation and firm and tighten the skin.

#4 DMK Enzyme Facial with Carla Cohen

This facial was extremely popular on YouTube for a while there because the enzyme mask makes you look like you’ve aged a hundred years. It’s wild! The purpose of the treatment is to firm the skin and exfoliate the skin.

#5 The “Head to Toe Glow” Facial by Cynthia Franco

This is the treatments celebrities do leading up to a big red carpet event. That’s because Franco addresses every inch of your body. She does microcurrent and LED light therapy along with other classic facial elements while you’re body is cocooned in an infrared body wrap. Plus, so much more!
